We built HomeLearn because we saw a gap: parents who chose to homeschool their children had no dedicated platform to discover verified teachers in their city. And teachers who wanted to work with homeschooling families had no way to get discovered.

HomeLearn is India's first marketplace that connects homeschooling parents with verified teachers who come to their home. Every teacher's government ID, passing certificate, and experience is checked by our team before their profile goes live.

What HomeLearn does

Parents search by subject, grade, and city — and find teachers whose qualifications have already been verified. No cold calls, no trust-on-faith. Teachers set their own fees and schedule. Parents pay online and their money is protected — if a teacher stops showing up, HomeLearn issues credits for unused classes immediately.

For teachers, HomeLearn handles everything outside the classroom: scheduling, fee collection, attendance tracking, and parent communication — so they can focus on teaching. Homeschool families are long-term relationships, not one-off sessions.

What we believe

• Every child deserves an education that fits them — not the other way around.
• The National Education Policy 2020 envisions flexible, learner-paced education. Homeschooling is one of the most natural ways to achieve that.
• Homeschooling is legal in India. The RTE Act mandates education, not schooling.
• Parents should be able to find, verify, and connect with homeschool teachers without friction.
• Teachers who do this work well deserve to be found, compensated fairly, and supported — not undercut by platforms that treat them as a commodity.
