Why we built HomeLearn

Homeschooling in India is growing — but finding the right teacher shouldn't mean scrolling through WhatsApp groups, asking in Facebook communities, or relying on word of mouth.

We built HomeLearn because we saw a gap: parents who chose to homeschool their children had no dedicated platform to discover verified teachers in their city. And teachers who wanted to work with homeschooling families had no way to get discovered.

HomeLearn is India's first marketplace that connects homeschooling parents with verified teachers who come to their home. Every teacher's passing certificate and experience is checked by our team before their profile goes live.

What we believe

• Every child deserves an education that fits them — not the other way around.
• The National Education Policy 2020 envisions flexible, learner-paced education. Homeschooling is one of the most natural ways to achieve that.
• Homeschooling is legal in India. The RTE Act mandates education, not schooling.
• Parents should be able to find, verify, and connect with teachers without friction.
