NIOS admission help

Fill your NIOS admission form correctly, with a person beside you

NIOS rejects forms with a missing or wrong document and does not refund the fee. We check your documents first, then guide you on a video call while you fill your own form.

How it works

Four steps, about 45 minutes on the call

  1. Free document check

Send photos of your documents on WhatsApp. We check the format, size and whether your age and class qualify, before you pay anything.

  2. Book a time

Pick a slot for a video call of about 45 minutes. You pay our fee only once the check says you are ready.

  3. Fill the form with us beside you

You share your screen and type everything yourself, including the two OTPs NIOS sends to your phone and email. We tell you what each screen wants and where people get stuck.

  4. Pay NIOS and keep the proof

You pay the NIOS fee on NIOS's own payment page. We help you note the reference number and know what to watch for next.

Before the call

What to keep ready

Class 10 (Secondary) and Class 12 (Senior Secondary) online admission both need these.

  • A phone and an email address that are yours and can receive messages during the call. The email must not have been used on NIOS before.
  • Photos or scans of your documents as JPG files, each under 1 MB. Originals, not photocopies.
  • Your Aadhaar name and gender exactly as printed on the card, if you use Aadhaar.
  • Passport-size photo: portrait, plain or light background, face centred, eyes open, nothing written on it.
  • Signature in black or blue ink on plain white paper, cropped.
  • Proof of identity, date of birth and address. Class 10 needs proof of age (birth certificate, passport, school leaving certificate or Aadhaar). Class 12 needs the Class 10 certificate as age proof.
  • Your last school's Transfer Certificate or last board marksheet, and the failed marksheet if you did not pass.
  • Your five subjects, medium of study and the district where you want a study centre.
  • A card, UPI or net banking in your own name, and a quiet place for 45 minutes.

Questions

Is this an official NIOS service?

No. HomeLearn is not NIOS and not an accredited NIOS Study Centre. You can register yourself for free at sdmis.nios.ac.in. We help you do it correctly.

Do I pay NIOS through HomeLearn?

No. You pay the NIOS admission fee directly on NIOS's payment page. Our fee is separate and you see it before you book.

Do you need my NIOS password or my OTPs?

Never. You type everything yourself and receive your own OTPs. We never ask for or keep your password.

What happens if my documents are wrong?

That is what the free check is for. NIOS rejects forms with missing or wrong documents and does not refund the fee, so we look first.

How long does NIOS take to confirm my admission?

NIOS does not publish a time. After payment it checks your documents and fee, then sends your enrolment number by email and SMS. It may also ask for a printed form and documents.

Can I change something after I pay?

Not in the form itself. Some changes (subjects, study centre, name or date of birth corrections) can be made later through NIOS's student e-service, for a fee. It is much easier to get it right before paying.
