Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

  • Account data: name, email, phone number, role, and profile photo provided during registration.
  • Children's data:collected from the parent account only — child's name, grade, and age. We do not collect data directly from minors.
  • Usage data: pages visited, device type, and browser via Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics.
  • Payment data: processed entirely by Razorpay. HomeLearn does not store card or bank account details.
  • FCM tokens: stored in Firestore per user to deliver push notifications (opt-in only).

2. How We Use It

  • Providing and improving the Platform
  • Sending transactional emails (enrollment confirmations, fee receipts)
  • Sending push notifications (opt-in; can be withdrawn via browser settings)
  • Analytics and abuse prevention

3. Data Sharing

We share data only with the following service providers:

  • Firebase / Google — authentication, database, and storage infrastructure
  • Razorpay — payment processing
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Vercel Analytics — anonymous usage analytics

We do not sell your data to any third parties.

4. Children's Privacy

HomeLearn complies with applicable children's privacy laws. Children under 13 may only use the Platform through a parent-controlled account. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

5. Data Retention

  • Active accounts: retained while the account exists
  • Deleted accounts: personal data purged within 30 days, except where legally required

6. Your Rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by emailing info@homelearn.co.in. You can withdraw push notification consent via your browser settings.

7. Cookies

We use session cookies only — no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Google Analytics 4 sets an analytics cookie; you can opt out via your browser or using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

8. Security

All data is stored in Firebase with Firestore security rules enforced. HTTPS is required for all connections. FCM tokens are encrypted in transit.

9. Changes to This Policy

Material changes will be notified by email before they take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision.
