Questions
How do I start teaching Chemistry to homeschooled children in Bangalore?
Sign up at homelearn.co.in, create your educator profile, upload your qualification documents, and submit for verification. Once approved (usually 1–3 business days), your profile goes live and homeschooling families in Bangalore can find and enroll with you.
Do I pay to get students?
No. Families find your profile and book you directly; there is no fee per lead or per enquiry. Creating your profile is free, with no monthly subscription and no joining fee.
Can I teach from home, or only near my home?
Both. Teach online from home, or take home visits only within the travel distance you set, so every visit is close to you. You choose which bookings to accept.
How much can I earn as a homeschool educator?
Earnings depend on your subject, number of students, and the rate you set per session. You set your own rates. There's no monthly subscription or joining fee.
Do I need a formal teaching degree?
Not necessarily. HomeLearn accepts educators with relevant subject expertise — a graduate degree in your subject, professional experience, or strong academic credentials. All applications are reviewed manually.
Can I teach Chemistry online from Bangalore?
Yes. You choose online, home visits, or both, and online classes reach families anywhere in India or abroad.
When do I get paid?
Payouts are made at the end of each month to the payout account on your profile. If you join after the 15th, your first payout comes the following month.
Is there a limit on how many classes or students I can have?
No limits. You can create as many classes and enroll as many students as you need.
